ECFC Requests Congressional Leadership Include Cadillac Tax Repeal in Year-End Legislation
ECFC sent this letter to the leadership of the House of Representatives and the Senate, with copies to the leaders of the House and Senate tax-writing committees, urging them to include legislation repealing the excise tax on high cost employer health (the “Cadillac Tax”) in any legislation coming before Congress during the remainder of the year. The letter points out the bipartisan support for repeal of the Cadillac Tax. We will follow the legislative process for the remainder of the year and report back to the membership on the outcome.
