Washoe COVID-19 cases jump by 34 on Saturday

Washoe County added 34 known cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, bringing the total in the county to 1,719 cases.
So far, 65 people have died from coronavirus in Washoe County, according to the regional information center dashboard.
Sixty-four people are currently hospitalized due to the virus and 134 people have been released from the hospital. Nearly 1,100 people have recovered from COVID-19 and 564 cases are still active.
194 new cases, 4 additional deaths in Nevada
Saturday
The number of Nevadans who have tested positive for COVID-19 has increased by 194, bringing the statewide total of known infections to 9,460 people, according to new data posted to the Nevada Health Alliance dashboard.

The number of deaths statewide increased to 437 on Saturday.
Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 increased 4.6% on Friday, and ventilator use among known or suspected cases has fallen to 44.
